YUDUYU is a sustainable hair salon based in Onetangi on Waiheke Island, created as a calm, considered space for high-quality hair.
Our studio has been built with intention, from the way the space feels to the way hair is approached.
The clay finish walls were done by hand with Yas’s mum, and that sense of care and connection runs through everything here. It is not just about how things look, but how they feel to be part of.
Hair at YUDUYU is focused on quality, longevity, and ease. The team specialises in lived-in colour and healthy hair, creating results that feel natural, wearable, and grow out beautifully. The approach is thoughtful and personalised, with time taken to understand what works for you, your lifestyle, and your long-term goals.

Our range brings together naturally derived formulations and science-backed innovation, allowing us to care for the hair in a way that feels both gentle and effective. We work with brands such as Juuce and De Lorenzo, which focus on plant-based, vegan-friendly formulations, alongside Davines, known for its balance of natural origin ingredients and advanced formulation, and Olaplex, which leads in science-led repair and strengthening.
Each product is chosen with intention, not just for how it looks or feels in the moment, but for how it supports the long-term health and wearability of the hair. We are mindful of sensitive scalps, ingredient quality, and how products perform over time, ensuring everything we use in-salon and recommend at home feels supportive, considered, and aligned.
